There have been multiple reports of animals roaming free with and without the owner present. Please be mindful of the city ordinance and covenant below. Thank you
City Ordinance Sec. 14-5. - Control, protection of animals. It shall be unlawful for any person to: (1)Permit or allow any animal or fowl to run at large within the corporate limits of the city, except on property of the owner of the animal located in an agricultural (A-1) zone. However, this exception does not apply if the owner's property is in a platted subdivision, even if it is an A-1 zone.
Har-Ber Meadows Covenant Article IX Section 15. Animal Husbandry. No animals, livestock or poultry of any kind shall be raised, bred or kept on any Lot except dogs, cats and other common household pets (not to exceed two of each category) provided they are not kept, bred or maintained for commercial purposes. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no animals or fowl may be kept on the Property which result in an annoyance or are obnoxious to residents in the vicinity. Animals are not permitted to roam the Property and must be controlled on a leash if they are not on a Lot. No dog runs shall be allowed except with the permission of the ARC.
